Rylee came November 18, 2011 and we were all excited to see her. Poor Uncle Jimmy missed her by two days, he's gone to the mtc then off to Chile Osorno Mission! Congrats to him, she'll meet you in two years. She's pretty good like the usual newborn. She's getting big way way too fast. She weighed 7lbs 14oz, almost a pound bigger than my biggest before her. Anyways we're just enjoying the newborn phase cause it goes away too fast then I'll post more. Kaylee

This was our Halloween, we went in the week to the Haunted Mansion in Stirling, I told Kodi she was not old enough but she would not be left out. We told Houston and Ty they would be scared and Houston acted so cool and told us he would definitely not be scared as soon as we walked in the doors Houston was grabbing my hand squeezing for dear life asking to go home, Ty was freaking out, Kodi was bawling on and off and by the end Ty was too thinking we'd never get out and Houston definitely was not the tough guy! Him and ty are NOT going back next year..... haha. Then we had Halloween, if you can't tell Houston the baseball player, Kodi the princess, and Quincee the devil. Now in her prayers when I say be a 'good girl' she says 'no a devil'. Oh and I added one of little Ava.... not mine, she's not here yet!!!

Quincee is 2 today!!! We're excited she's growing up but I hate that she soon won't be the 'baby'. Cause she definitely still acts like she is;) She is talking lots and her favorite this week is 'noooo kooodi" or "ooookay" with a little sass on the end, like duh mom I know. We had Rope and Brooke's wedding this weekend and they looked great pics to come, the girls and boys were also super cute but not so great for pics we'll see how those turned out. Anyways a little about Quincee....
-shes definitely a mommy's girl
-loves horses especially Fanny
-loves her dolly's, purses and cell phones, doesn't go alot of places without the phone
-is very grumpy in mornings, especially to her daddy;)
-loves Kodi and lets her 'babysit' a.k.a. tell her what to do all day long
-loves to blow bubbles on mommys big tummy
-lately if i ask if she pooped she will say 'no houston, or no kodi or no daddy or no mommy' anyone pooped but her
-she loves cereal just like her dad
-doesn't like when kodi and houston leave her for school on bus
-is super wild and crazy just like houston was
-we love her and we all also like to 'baby' her, (mommy, daddy, kodi and houston) if she gets in trouble they are right there saying it's okay quincee don't cry, sit on my lap, etc.

Kodi is 4! No I can't believe it. It goes by way too fast. We had a party for her, just family, maybe a friend one next year, she needs some friends first...;) She was sick when I took her pics so don't judge her squinty eyes. She loves being outside, doing anything Gramma Dana is doing, chores, mowing, riding, fixing fences, piddling around, anything to not be inside. She loves babies, mothering Quincee and Lucy. Bossing them too. She is usually good tempered but when she suddenly gets mad she's mad and "SHE"S NOT TALKING!!!" So don't bug her. She has really soft feelings something I'm not so I guess that's why I got her, so I'd learn to deal with it... I don't cry. She likes too. She doesn't like to be yelled at and her feelings get hurt easy. She's got a lot of spunk though, and holds her own if she needs to. She does have Houston to bug her all day! We love her and can't believe she's growing up so fast!!!! She's going to preschool in fall and I"m going to die with trusting Houston to get her there off the bus!!! AHHH....

I know I'm a horrible blogger of my own stuff, but keeping up with these three kids, having a photography business that is keeping me on my toes, living with my parents and everything else in between has made me a bad blog keeper. So what have we been up to lately... to tell you the truth I don't know. Houston is in his second year of preschool he has a late birthday so he'll be old. Kodi is getting excited that she goes to preschool in fall, me not so much, she still seems so little to me. Quincee is growing way to fast she is a wild one too, she is so busy I think even maybe more active than houston was so i'm a little nervous for when she's five because he is ACTIVE!!! I guess that'd be the proper word, not wild, hyper, crazy, sometimes a little outta control... ha. They all seem to keep us busy. We're getting ready to make the move outta here out to our newly subdivided land across from Brett's parents... yay. But no not into a house yet... into a trailer so when you drive by don't laugh and say who are the ghetto hicks out there... it's just us! Hopefully that only lasts until Brett's done school in about a year and a half. I'm excited to finally be out of town for good. My little brother also comes home from Argentina in 6 weeks! Crazy how fast that went so we're busy getting everything ready for when he comes home... Brett thinks we go overboard around here with homecomings, parties but I think go big or go home!!! Anyways that's about it going on for us right now.. maybe i'll talk to you soon maybe not....;) Oh and here's a few pics to kinda catch up... oh and my lovely photographer is my sister... thanks, and a couple of Miles (newest grandbaby on our side)

this family is so cute. i grew up around jamie a bit, crimping his hair and stuff like that ;), jana is my sister's age and now we go for girls night outs together with a bunch of girls. their kids are so cute and full of personality as you can see in their pics. that's what i love about taking pictures you can just see kids personalities in them. big thanks to gramma and laynee for helping entertain them...personally i love the one of the two kids because abby's face cracks me right up, and you see where their cuteness comes from look at their parents!

Love tiny newborns. I did this baby's newborn photos for his Grandma. He was two and a half weeks old and cooperated so good. Slept through the whole session didn't ever need to eat! That's awesome for a newborn most eat four or five times in one session just to keep them sleeping. He has a big brother that's 2 1/2 so he wasn't in the mood for pics, but what two year old is. His mom said she's not good with non-smiling pics but she looks pretty good here, she looks amazing for having a two week old baby. Hope his Grandma likes his pictures. Good luck being a mommy of two Becca.

Anyways here are some senior photos I did at grad. It was fun and the boy is my bro-in-law. Cute huh... yeah but he's taken, hence the cute blonde girl. The other two girls are friends and we had fun taking there pics before grad and sewing one into her dress...;) They all looked stunning hope they like they're pics... these were meant to be put on here when Quincee turned six months old she's now over seven months... the time is flying. She is a happy little thing. Her brother and sister love her, Houston talks baby talk to her all the time, and Kodi lights right up as soon as she sees her. Kodi can be pouting and grumpy and if Quincee is there she instantly starts talking in her baby voice to her. Quincee sits up pretty good now, is rolling and pulling herself all over the place, trying to get up on all fours, and I'm wanting to push her back down! I want her to slow down! Selfish I know but they're only little for a short, short time. She doesn't sleep through the night not even close, haha I wish, she's always happy. Loves animals, especially the baby chicks and the new baby foal. Thinks they're hilarious. She makes three kids worth it everyday!

Okay so I never blog anymore about just the normal life stuff... So i have a huge baby now... well she isn't huge but to me she is... she was so tiny not so long ago and she's already in a few days SIX months old... so sad. I love them to pieces but hate to see it go by in a blur! I want to enjoy them little. I mean Houston is four and a half & Kodi will be three so soon. Quincee is rolling over both ways, smiles like crazy she's so smiley, kind of sitting with help, loves her brother and sister, her momma too, her dad of course and gramma dana 'thinks', no she actual does put her to sleep quite easily. She is a little dolly and we love her so much. Kodi is such a little girl, loves her dolls nurses them but is very shy about it, Houston is the average boy, loves to run, play any sports and the kid should be an acrobat with some of the stunts he does. So I tell everyone I do not like to take pics of babies after two weeks or so of birth and in between the age of about six months when they sit up. Babies in between can't do anything besides lay on their backs and you just don't get a good variety of photos. But since my sis-in-law and me had our babies within six days of each other and I was in Calgary and her here, I made an acception. I took mr. J's pics and he's five months old. He did pretty good, didn't love my camera but we got some pretty cute pics anyways. Here you go amy, hope you like them;)

i can't believe how fast they grow.... actually i should say i hate how fast they grow... quincee is now 2 months old and isn't "newborn" anymore... i classify newborn when they finish nursing and u hold them against you to burp them and their whole body scrunches right up into you... well she doesn't do that anymore even though i push her legs up to make her kind of do it. i wish we could have them stay in the newborn phase for at least six months i mean come on that's not much to ask for since we carry them around and get fat for them for 10 months, right. it's crazy to think houston is already four, kodi two and a half and feels like i just brought houston home from the hospital. now it's three! i think i take it for granted too trying to hurry and get things done, clean the house, do the laundry, make dinner, etc. all those things won't be important in ten years when i'm wishing i still had little kids and babies around. so i've decided to let things go, not worry about the mess till they're all gone.... because then i'll be sad if i didn't just sit and play with them, or read to them, or just watch them grow up. so mostly this post is just a warning sign... "MESSY HOUSE" don't mind it if you stop by.... so quincee is getting bigger everyday, growing out of clothes and diapers, making me sad. kodi is acting so much more like a big girl, sad too, and houston is the oldest and i wish he was still a baby sometimes too. they both say funny things everyday and make us laugh, my dad has a new pool table and i picked up a pool stick the other night and my dad says, "this is for boys!" kodi asked him "grampa, why's it just for boys?" he told her, "girls are supposed to be up in the kitchen getting us chips and pop and food." she says, "that'd be good!" (one of her favorite sayings) then a few minutes later she's playing piano with my mom and my dad stands by them she looks at him and says "this is for GIRLS!" we all laughed at that. houston is in love with horse racing right now, all he thinks about, he has all the horse racing blankets memorized with the numbers that are on them. only real positive about it is he knows his numbers really good now. i just have to make sure he never finds out you can bet on the horses, he's a really poor loser so i doubt betting the races would help.... well i haven't been on the blog seen for awhile now, three's keeping me busy, moving, unpacking, organizing my house, and getting ready for xmas which is only two weeks away!!! ahhhhh.... but i'm loving having a new baby around and so are the kids! merry christmas!!!

October 9, 2009 - Quincee Dene Ralph... This is her story...

My moms birthday October 8, I started the day by telling my mom and Lynz I felt different. I knew today was the day but didn't want to tell anyone in case I was wrong. But started cleaning like a mad woman, all three bathrooms, vaccumed whole house, made sure I had everything for birth, double checked birth stuff, did few loads of laundry, dishes, everything else that was a mess... Brett came home around 1:30 pm made him lunch, took Houston to run a few errands while Kodi napped, came home showered and got ready to go out to dinner with the Stampeder wives. Left kids with Brett, he took them to McDonalds where Kodi told him "That boys ticking me off." in the playplace about some random kid... I picked up Mindi L. and we headed downtown to dinner. By this time I'd been having cramps all day long and I knew they were getting slowly stronger, but brushed them off so I wouldn't have to think about them. I didn't tell anyone just made a joke about Mindi maybe having to coach me on deerfoot while driving home...:) So we got to dinner at 6 pm. About an hour into dinner one girl said "What's wrong?" I said "Nothing" She said "Your whole demeanor just changed what's wrong? Do you feel something?" I said "I'm okay I've been having cramps all day." Her "What?" Then everyone started freaking out. I said I was fine. Then went to bathroom to call my mom she asked if she should come, i told her i didn't know wait a little bit longer. Then called brett and told him it was tonight and to get kids in bed before I came home. I still waited and pretended they weren't getting worse, finally at about 9:00 I told Mindi we should go, she freaked out and said I should've told her earlier. So we paid and left. She asked to drive I said I was good. She asked how I was feeling I told her they were getting closer and stronger, so she started timing them, They were four minutes apart, she told me to call my midwife I said I would as soon as I got home. I dropped her off just before ten. She was still freaking out a bit... I got home and Brett was watching his favorite, Seinfeld. I went upstairs and started making my bed, getting towels in dryer, getting things ready between pauses for contractions, told my mom to come now, called Lyndsay, called midwife she said she'd be half hour. Then Brett started a bath and I got in. They were worse now, and 3 minutes. The water helped but back labor was a killer, so Brett got his duties of rubbing it through contractions. My midwife came and got her things ready and then decided to check me, 6-7 cm and that she was really low. I tried my moms cell, dead, then called my dad and told him how far I was and he said she'd been gone about hour and half. I said to tell her if he talked to her. Then hung up for a contraction. Taina came in and asked if I wanted to have iv for Group B Strep that I'd tested + for. She said once my water broke she'd be here fast. I decided not to have iv since it wouldn't be in my system long enough and she'd be here fast after my water broke. I was glad cause I really didn't want the iv. The other midwife(Anne) arrived and by now I was close to thinking I might die (which means it's almost over in my books) Then when I wanted to start pushing I did and my water broke, I called Taina in and she said you have to get out right now if you want to have her in your bed, otherwise you can have her in the tub. My tub isn't big so I said I wanted out. Brett and Taina helped me and I got on the bed. Brett kept rubbing my back, and I pushed for about 10-15 min. and she was here, 12:30am, missed my moms birthday by half hour. I said, "This was the easiest one." Which both midwives thought was a little soon to say. Then I layed down and held her/nursed her. My mom got there about five minutes late... and Brett went and woke up kids, Houston walked in turned around and went back to bed, he was a little out of it, Kodi was so excited and never stopped talking for five seconds. Houston came back out about half hour later and then was excited. After about two hours they weighed her (7.1lbs, 20inches) and checked her. Then Anne left, Taina stayed about an hour longer. Then my mom and brett put kids back to bed and we all went to bed. The next day Brett went to football, I mostly stayed in bed, Mindi called and told me she started screaming in her room when she found out I'd had her a couple hours after she'd left me. Lynz came in afternoon with Lucy, Taina came back that afternoon. The next day, Saturday Brett left to Montreal and my mom and Lyndsay stayed till he came back Monday night, we had our own Thanksgiving dinner with us three and that was it... I loved it, even though most thought I was nuts. My dad called me to yell at me a few days prior, Bretts family was freaking out but it was awesome and I will for sure do it again if its available. I loved being in my own room, my bed, with the people I wanted around me. I loved that my kids got to be there right after and that I didn't have to leave them to have her. Even Brett liked the whole thing. I was so happy he was supportive of what I wanted for the birth and even though people were telling him we were crazy he went with it... Pretty much it was amazing. Now it's been four weeks and I can't believe it, I love having a newborn, but she's getting bigger too fast... Houston and Kodi love her and are really good with her. We're getting used to getting out of the house on time with three and adjusting to a newborns schedule... Love her!!! I think that's the whole story... and a few pics, not the greatest but what I have...

I can't believe Halloween has come and gone and Christmas will be here so soon... Brett says I'm getting ahead of myself... but decorations are out in stores so I'm not the only one... We went down to Raymond for Halloween, Brett was gone to b.c. so I wasn't taking kids trick or treating alone here. We had fun they lasted for about six houses and then they were cold, they got enough candy with that many houses so I was fine to be done that and the baby was ready. Quincee is already three weeks old, they grow way too fast... I'll one day post about her but for today its hAlLoWeEn!!!

Well she decided she wanted to see her daddy before he left today:) She came really early friday morning after I'd gone out with the stampeder girls for dinner, thank goodness i drove with mindi and she could time my contractions on way home from 17th ave... she's still freaking out at me;) she came two hours after i walked in my door. Very fast but so exciting. we're so excited to have her no name yet she was 7.1 twenty inches. Details and pics to come soon.... for now we're busy just keeping up with her constant feeding....

Here's the family pics I took last week, this is one busy momma, she has a two year old and one year old... and both boys so busy busy busy. They were lots of fun, N was a normal two year old wanting to run and play and eat his brother D's treats. D just started walking and is a one year old trying to get away from my camera. And their mom is beautiful as u can see in these pics the boys are both identical to their parents. One of each. Hope they like these and your disc will be in the mail shortly. Now I'm hoping to have this baby come out I was hoping chasing these two boys would've made it happen but no luck, we're counting down now, 6 days, but we'll see maybe I'm destined to be late... it is a girl so we'll see. Houston and Kodi are waiting everyday. Houston wakes up and asks where the baby is. He knows he's not going back to Raymond until after the baby comes so he's really starting to ask now. They want to go see their horses... so baby come out! Oh and Kodi has started the potty... bad timing on her part but she doesn't want the diapers right now, too bad i just bought the $50 box from Costco last week... ugh...

This is my cousins wedding photos that we did last weekend, she's getting married down in Utah this weekend so we took a few at her reception in Raymond. She looked stunning, and I'm sure she'll be even more stunning this weekend with the glow they come out of the temple with... they're always so giddy and excited. I couldn't make it down there cause I'd rather not have this baby in the states :( So I hope i get to see pics from down there soon too... Congrats K&L hope everything is awesome!!! Now u can see how beautiful she is... sorry L but the girl always steals the show... you looked good too (p.s. he's in training for the next summer Olympics)

So we've had an interesting few weeks, first Kodi was on my mom's back deck that doesn't have a railing yet and fell off onto her head onto hard packed dirt and rocks (5ft. high) so that resulted in huge bump and trip to get xrays and an overnight stay in hospital for observation, she's good besides the leftover black eyes, the swelling left her head and went to her eyes... Then the next week Houston had to go get his dental work done and be put under general anesthetic. They put him to sleep at 9am and finished at 11:30 but never woke up besides to say with his eyes closed, I'm thirsty, so into car to head home, into his bed and didn't wake up until 4:30 p.m. Lots of sleep... That was a week ago and now he's just starting to be able to eat normal. His mouth was really sore. Poor kid. I didn't feel quite as bad when the dentist told me, his had thirteen when he was about 2, he said probably genetic... guess that's my fault. Then this Saturday was Kylie's wedding reception... I got home to put kids to bed and about five minutes later Kodi swallowed a metal washer.... another trip to ER and more xrays and there was the little washer clearly in her tummy. So now my job is to check her diaper... disgusting until it hopefully comes out or else more xrays and who knows... Glad all this happened in Raymond hosp. or I'd be having social services coming over in Calgary.... Kids are fun. Kodi's had more radiation in two weeks then I think I've had in 24 years. But I guess thats kids.... I hope we're done with hospitals for awhile now.... Sorry pics are backwards in order...

Here's poor Houston still hasn't woke up from being put under at dentist. Almost every tooth got worked on. Poor kid... dental genes aren't so good.

Day 7 and i quit with the everyday pics, now it's just getting lighter the bruising. She looks lots better, theres a little bit of gooseegg still it's been 16 days now.

Well I have five more weeks to wait... maybe more hopefully less... ;) Kodi keeps telling brett, "mommy's having a baby sister, daddy." houston knows its coming after my birthday on the 12th. so after that I'm sure his questions won't stop. We have a busy month before baby comes, houston has his dental surgery booked tuesday in leth, the morning after brett's labor day game, so i'll be driving home quick after game, dentist tuesday, i have pics i need to take in raymond for a few people, get my maternity ones done, kylies wedding saturday, sometime this week paint kodi's bed, change table, a couple dressers, then back up to calgary sunday to wait for this baby that i'm not ready for, no diapers or any of the normal things u need, and then wait, go to my appts, waitsome more, hopefully get all the things i need for when baby's born and after,

and hope brett's not gone on his four day road trip that's scheduled the day i'm due... oh and hope we will have a babysitter while i'm having this baby, and brett has a few games in between now and then too we'll be going to. I think I'm always feeling like the last month before is crazy like you'll never get all the things done before the baby comes, i'm sure everyone's like that too. Now summer is pretty much over, we went to Calaway Park today, last weekend kodi had to stay overnight in hospital cause she fell off my mom's 5 foot deck on her head, so she had to have some xrays and be observed for twenty four hours now she went from looking like in houston's words, "quazzemoto" to a boxer who's lost their fight, she has two black eyes and everyone stares at her thinking we must beat our kids. I'll post pics of that soon. i have tons of pics from summer but i'll just put up a few and next time kodis face pics, we take a new one everyday to show her progress... she tells me "my owies getting better mommy, no picture."

We went to the new Bass Pro Shop open in Calgary now. Alot like a Cabela's for anyone who's been there. There's a hunting game where u shoot stuffed dead animals, and Houston wanted to shoot the skunk. So he did and then his grumpy picture is from right after when the skunk turns and lifts it's tail and sprays water at you. He was so mad and really thought the skunk had sprayed him. He was done after that. Kodi loved it, a few more days in Calgary and then off to B.C. for camping. I love camping, Brett not so much.... I'll post pics after that.

Well I'm taking the plunge to a minivan mom and # 3.

I'm sure alot of you already knew since everyone in Raymond loves to gossip!

But I figured now was the time to tell... it's a girl, I'm almost 20 weeks

and since everyone will want to know why I haven't told I guess I

just decided it wasn't going to be anyone's business until I officially made it

people's business myself. So sorry if anyone's feelings are hurt that they

didn't get told personally but I only told my immediate family.

Well that's about it I guess I'll soon know what it is to drive a minivan and haul three

instead of two around. Not sure if I know what I'm getting myself into.

Houston had his first soccer game last Wednesday. It was hilarious. Their just little people running every which way all trying to take the ball from each other teammate or not. Houston couldn't wait everyday we had to tell him one more sleep he just couldn't stand the wait. And now its over he just wants to go again. He practices all the time! Kodi just liked everyone's snacks as usual.

Our Phoenix Trip...

We went to Phoenix for two weeks got back about a week ago, to snow! Yuck it was 100 F there and freezing when we got here. Seriously not a nice surprise. But it was tons of fun down there lots of swimming and sun. I took hardly any pics, honestly so dumb of me but I was busy in the sun or shopping. Houston is now a fish in the water, we have to watch him cuz u don't even know he's left the edge and next thing he's hanging on ur back in the middle, scary. Kodi was so sick while we were there even had to go to emerg down there to find out it was Bronchitis. And she gave that to me so we were both hacking our lungs out. But she was a rotten little thing. Maybe its the terrible twos coming too. But she is all girl and a wee bit snotty. Favorite word is NO! Or clinging to my leg... Mommy Mommy. Now we're just getting back and Brett will be leaving in a month back to football and then we'll make the dreaded move later. yuck i hate calgary. Oh well Football games are fun. We come home alot too. Well thats about it for the Phoenix trip.

Well we got back from Vegas at 3:00 a.m. today! It was an awesome trip, laughs till we hurt, bedtime stories, late nights, girl talk, a few arguments...., crazy ideas, too many creepy men, naked pics..., a little gambling, a little dancing, shopping, lots of makeup/hairspray/borrowed clothes, blistered and sore feet, alot of crying girls, and the worst trip home ever!!!! No jokes! But other than all the negatives it was so much fun to be just girls!!!

The worst trip home ever was started by Kasha taking her leatherman through the carry on luggage for the second time... Then telling a few boy stories... trying to figure out the directions... hitting a deer (dead instantly) p.s. my vehicle!... really really lost in middle of the boonies, really scared girls, no cell phone service, finally Dustin, got to border and all H E double hockey sticks broke loose! The guy was an absolute bad word, Kasha's visitor pass really expired, pepper spray in the car, mad husbands, and alot alot of crying girls!!! Eventually all of us got to come home. (Arrival at Sweetgrass border approx. 12 a.m. Arrival at Raymond 3 a.m.)
